Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There are currently 34,620 unemployed people in Montenegro, slightly fewer than last week.
According to a report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate decreased this week from 14.93 percent to 14.92 percent.
The highest unemployment rate reached 32.7 percent in July of 2000, while the lowest one, at the level of 10.1 percent, was recorded in August of 2009.
Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 7,570 newly employed workers.
A total of 20,890 vacancies have been advertised in this period.
