Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The weighted average effective interest rates for granted loans, including all related costs, decreased by 0.01 percentage points in October to 6.39 percent.
According to the statistics of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), published in its Bulletin, the weighted average nominal interest rate declined by 0.01 points in October to 5.79 percent.
In this period, the banks’ effective interest rate for newly granted loans increased by 0.37 percentage points to 6.92 percent, while the nominal one rose by 0.24 points to 6.14 percent.
The effective interest rate of microfinance institutions (MFIs) increased by 0.03 points in October to 24.35 percent, while the nominal one rose up by 0.04 points to 20.58 percent.
The effective interest rate offered by the MFIs for newly granted loans declined by 0.23 percentage points to 25.23 percent, while the nominal dropped by 0.11 points to 21.13 percent.
The weighted average effective interest rate for deposits remained at 0.58 percent in October.
In this period, the difference between the interest rates for loans and those for deposits declined to 5.81 percent.
