Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the statistics released by the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), the value of payment operations in the 22 working days of November amounted to €1.21 billion, 1.6 percent less than in October.
The transactions carried out in the Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS) accounted for 94.24 percent, while the ones carried in the Deferred Net Settlement (DNS), accounted for their remaining number.
Individual transactions between clients are carried out according to the real time principle in the RTGS system, while the interbank transactions are carried out in the DNS system.
“In the 22 working days of November, a total of 933,600 payment orders were executed, out of which those in RTGS system accounted for 38.58 percent, and the ones in DNS system for their remaining number,” CBCG says in a report.
There was no interruption in the operation of the system in November, meaning that its availability was 100 percent.
