Podgorica, (MINA) – The Ministry of Education will work together with UNICEF in order to build capacities for the planning and budgeting of education projects, the Ministry has announced.
According to a press statement, the process of drafting a project proposal for UNICEF’s technical assistance is underway, which seeks to strengthen the capacities of education institutions to mobilize and use the funds available for the educational sector.
“The preliminary focal areas in the project include preschool and inclusive education, as well as prevention of early school dropout, quality of tuition and employability,” the press statement explains.
At a meeting on Monday, Minister of Education Damir Sehovic and Head of the UNICEF Office in Montenegro Osama Makkawi Khogali agreed that the project of this scope and importance is bringing the bilateral partnership to a new level.
