Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There are currently 41,090 unemployed people in Montenegro, 0.2 percent fewer than last week.
According to a report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate declined from 17.74 percent to 17.71 percent this week.
The highest unemployment rate, amounting to 32.7 percent, was recorded in July 2000, while the lowest one, at the level of 10.1 percent, was recorded in August 2009.
Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 10,570 newly employed workers.
In the same period, 21,910 vacancies have been advertised.
