Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There are currently 42,090 unemployed people in Montenegro, 0.8 percent fewer than last week.
According to a report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate decreased from 18.29 percent to 18.14 percent.
The highest unemployment rate reached 32.7 percent in July of 2000, while the lowest one, at the level of 10.1 percent, was recorded in August of 2009.
Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 14,980 newly employed workers.
In the same period, 28,830 vacancies have been advertised.
