Podgorica, (MINA) – Cooperation between Montenegro and China in the area of education will be improved with the signing of two agreements which are currently being drafted and which will encourage the exchange of students between the two countries, it was heard at a meeting between Minister of Education Damir Sehovic and Chinese Ambassador in Podgorica Liu Jin.
The Ministry of Education explained in a press release those agreements address the field of education and the issue of mutual recognition of diplomas.
Minister Sehovic underlined that China is Montenegro’s strategic partner and that traditionally good political and economic relations must be accompanied by equally good relations in the field of education and culture.
“He noted that a significant number of Montenegrin students are interested in studies in China, which creates a lot of room for strengthening bilateral relations in the future,” the press release said.
Sehovic announced that the Ministry of Education is preparing an agreement on mutual recognition of diplomas, which China already has with over 50 countries.
