Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro is unwavering on its European course, although aware of the existence of confusion in European politics, especially when it comes to enlargement policy, President Milo Djukanovic has stated.
He underlined that, in the past 12 years, since restoring its independence, Montenegro proved to have a very clear vision and sufficient capacity to pursue that vision.
Addressing a meeting entitled Doing Business with Montenegro in Milan on Tuesday, Djukanovic stated that Montenegro has demonstrated its determination pursue the course of European development.
“With or without our membership in the Union, what we want is Europeanization of Montenegrin society, to make sure that today and tomorrow we have in place the standards that represent the system of values of modern European civilization,” Djukanovic stated.
