Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINSS) – The prestigious London-based daily The Times has published a story on Montenegro, describing it as a new high-end destination.
The National Tourism Organization (NTO) says in a press release that, according to the article “Luxury Travel – Montenegro, the hot new playground for the super-rich,” smart marinas and gorgeous hotels are making this tiny Balkan country the latest luxe destination.
“The author of the article, Annabelle Thorpe, gave a very positive description of the Montenegrin coast, the Bay of Kotor, and the old towns – Kotor and Budva. She also described the changes in the tourism product of Montenegro, focusing on the new luxury destinations: Porto Montenegro, Aman Sveti Stefan and Lustica Bay,” the NTO says.
She said that, in addition to the most well-known hotel companies already present in Montenegro, there were others also looking for an opportunity to enter the Montenegrin market.
The story compares the developments in the tourism industries of Croatia and Montenegro, concluding that the latter is making a better use of its opportunities.
