Budva, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at the Counseling organized by the Montenegrin National Committee of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CG KO CIGRE) that Montenegro had enough professional and scientific potential that could ensure a more dynamic growth in the energy sector, especially in the field of hydro potential.
Chairman of CG KO CIGRE Milutin Ostojic said the latest professional and scientific expertise and experience in the field of electricity generation, transmission, distribution and consumption and environmental protection would be presented during the Counseling.
“The participants in the Counseling will have an opportunity to give their full contribution to the resolution of current problems in the energy sector in general, focusing on Montenegro and future development of this sector,” said Ostojic.
Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Pavle Radulovic reminded that Montenegro had been a CIGRE member for 11 years, adding that this association would celebrate its 100th anniversary in a few years.
Secretary General of the CIGRE Steering Committee Philippe Adam said that CIGRE had 60 national committees and around 15,000 members in more than 100 countries.
