Kolasin, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Pavle Radulovic has said that Kolasin 1600, the ski resort located on Mount Bjelasica that was opened today, is an example of a successful valorization of potentials, materialization of the Government’s policy and beginning of an accelerated development of tourism and all other sectors in the northern region.
At today’s formal opening of the 6-seater cable car at this winter tourism centre, he said that he was proud to be in the presence of one of the best example of materialization of the Governm
“The ski centre will enhance the Montenegrin tourism products and, and create preconditions for job creation and improvement of the citizens’ quality of life,” said Radulovic.
He said that the opening of this ski resort confirmed that the high-end tourism would play an important role in the future economic development of the northern region.
“This fact, combined with the announced €70 million investment in the infrastructure, will position Komovi and Bjelasica as the leading mountain centre in the region,” said Radulovic.
The ski resort was formally opened by Prime Minister Dusko Markovic.
