Podgorica, (MINA) – Fifty-five-year-old Slobodan Kascelan from Kotor was arrested in Prague on Thursday, pursuant to a red wanted notice issued by Interpol Podgorica last February.
The police have stated that Kascelan is suspected of having committed a number of serious crimes.
“Through successful and efficient international police cooperation between the Montenegrin Police Administration and the exchange of information with international partner services, S.K. was arrested in a rented apartment in Prague last night,” a police press release says.
According to the police, Kascelan is wanted for criminal prosecution in Montenegro, on suspicion of having committed attempted murder, creation of a criminal organization and loan sharking.
He is believed to be responsible for a premeditated attempt to kill I.M. in Prcanj in 2010.
