Podgorica, Sarajevo, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Speaker of the Montenegrin Parliament Ivan Brajovic has said that good parliamentary relations and cooperation must encourage the governments to improve the economic cooperation.
“The improvement of connections in the field or road and railway transport, energy and information and communication technologies are the preconditions for the establishment of better economic and social connections in Southeast Europe. Only then can we expect faster development that will improve the quality of life in our region,” Brajovic said at the sixth meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the South-East European Cooperation Process (PA SEECP).
Brajovic said that, as a NATO member and the next EU member state, Montenegro understood the importance of building partnerships and improving the connections among countries in all fields for the sustainable economic and social development.
“Montenegro supports the goals of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) related to connectivity. The signing of the agreement, which brings us one step closer to the roaming-free zone, shows the tangible benefits of regional cooperation in the best way,” said Brajovic.
According to a press release issued by Brajovic’s Office, the event provided the opportunity for meetings with senior officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Longer version of article is available on a link MINA ENGLISH SERVIS
