Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – A project involving the development of a resort in the hinterland of the Przno cove near Tivat has been announced at a meeting the Prime Minister, Dusko Markovic, had with CEO of Qatari Diar, Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah.
The Government’s Public Relations Service says in a press release that Qatari Diar representatives underlined the company’s commitment to this investment, Four Seasons has already expressed interest in as a potential operator of the future resort.
Since 2010, Qatari Diar has been the owner of 270,000 square metres of land in the hinterland of the Przno cove near Tivat, where it plans to develop an exclusive resort worth €270 million.
The Government reminds that Qatari Diar is part of a state investment fund of Qatar, saying that it is currently implementing 60 development projects worth over €35 billion in 24 countries from its three branches located on three different continents.
Markovic expressed satisfaction with the announced beginning of the development project, saying that such projects would be always supported by the Government.
He informed the company’s representatives that Montenegro was implementing the development projects worth more than €4 billion, and that improvement of the investment climate was one of the Government’s strategic policies.
Markovic said that Montenegro was open to all credible investors who are not only expected to provide money, but also to share their experiences in doing business and corporate governance.
