Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The average net salary in Montenegro amounted to €512 in September, up 0.2 percent on the month before.
According to the Statistical Office, the average net salary in September increased by 0.2 percent compared with the last year’s corresponding period.
The average gross salary amounted to €768 in September.
Given that, compared with August, the consumer prices increased by 0.1 percent in September, the actual net salaries in Montenegro saw a 0.1 percent increase in this period, says Monstat.
“Across different sectors, average net salaries increased in September in the field of real estate, other services, civil engineering, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, wholesale and retail trade, water supply and wastewater management, information and communication, art, entertainment and recreation, professional, scientific and technical activities.
On the other hand, the wages decreased in this period in the field of accommodation and food, electricity supply, education, transport and warehousing, processing industry, administrative and supporting services, public administration and defense, healthcare and social welfare, mining and quarrying, financial and insurance services.
