Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There are currently 38,340 unemployed people in Montenegro, 0.6 percent fewer than last week.
According to a report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate decreased from 16.62 percent to 16.53 percent this week.
The highest unemployment rate reached 32.7 percent in July of 2000, while the lowest one, at the level of 10.1 percent, was recorded in August of 2009.
Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 2,120 newly employed workers.
A total of 7,960 vacancies have been advertised in this period.
