Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro is a leader of the integration processes of the Western Balkans, and owing to its progress the process of EU integration continues in the region, said OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Slovakian Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak.
Lajcak was presented on Wednesday by the honorary PhD degree of the University of Montenegro by its rector Danilo Nikolic.
On that occasion Lajcak remarked that part of his professional and personal life is connected with Montenegro and some of historical moments in its modern history.
Earlier on Wednesday Lajcak presented a cheque to €10,000 to the director of the grammar school in Pljevlja, as a donation for renovation and reconstruction works in that high school.
