Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Tax Administration has said that the establishment of the electronic fiscalization system is aimed at improving the efficiency of the transaction control, which will contribute to the reduction of informal economy, gradual downsizing of tax administration and efficient management of tax controls.
At a meeting focusing on a draft law on fiscalization in the trade in products and services, Deputy Director at the Tax Administration Sreten Grbovic said that the development of a technical solution would be followed by a test period allowing the taxpayers to report the potential problems in the functioning of this system.
It was announced at the meeting, organized by the Employers’ Federation (UPCG) in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Administration, that the best software solution was being sought, while consultations with the business sector would be organized in the final phase of the development of relevant legislative framework.
“In the context of the forthcoming tourist season and intensified supervision, the consultations will be organized in the coastal region in May for all inspection services, including the Tax Administration,” the press release says.
The UPCG says that the meeting of these institutions and employers is a follow-up to their constructive and open cooperation in the fields of mutual importance.
