Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There are nearly 40,100 unemployed people in Montenegro, one percent fewer than last week.
According to a report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate decreased from 17.48 to 17.28 percent.
The highest unemployment rate, amounting to 32.7 percent, was recorded in July 2000, while the lowest one, at the level of 10.1 percent, was recorded in August 2009.
Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 12,090 newly employed workers.
In the same period, 23,370 vacancies have been advertised.
