Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – At a meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank (CBCG), Radoje Zugic, the Turkish businessman Veysi Erdoğan said that Turkey was interested in
Montenegro as an investment destination, primarily in its tourism, banking and insurance sectors.
According to a press release issued by the CBCG, Zugic met with the Ambassador of Turkey to Montenegro, Serhat Galip, and Erdoğan.
“Erdoğan informed the Governor about the intent of his company to invest in Montenegro, focusing on tourism, banking and insurance sectors,” the press release says.
Zugic said that the interest of Turkish investors had grown in the previous period, resulting in an increasing share of foreign investments coming from this country.
“The Central Bank is open for communication with and provision of support to the companies planning to invest in Montenegro and contribute to the intensification of our country’s economic growth,” said Zugic.
