Revenues to increase up to €17 million a year

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was announced during the parliamentary debate that the Bill on Fiscalization in the Trade in Products and Services, which is expected to come into effect next year, could result in the annual increase in budget revenues by €13 million to €17 million.

Minister of Finance Darko Radunovic said that he Government was optimistic about the timeframe for the beginning of implementation of this law.

“We will certainly not start the implementation unless we are ready. We need to train the staff and the software developers of the Tax Administration are also very busy at the moment, but I believe that we are on the good track,” said Radunovic.

He said that there will also be a trial period, allowing the authorities to see how the whole system is functioning.

Answering the question about the total costs of the system, Radunovic said that the Government would pay between €4 and €4.5 million for this programme.
