Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The arrival of Ramform Titan, the ship that will carry out the 3D seismic imaging of the offshore blocks 30 and 26 for the concessionaire, Greek company Energean, is expected todday.
“The imaging will be done by the Norwegian company PGS, while Ramform Titan, the ship that will carry out 3D seismic imaging, and the supporting ships Thor Freya and Sanco Sea, are expected to arrive tomorrow,” says a press release issued by the Hydrocarbon Administration.
According to the press release, Ramform Titan will not enter the Port of Bar, it will be anchored around one mile off shore.
“The imaging will cover the blocks located between Bar and Buljarica, whose total area is 338 square kilometres,” the Administration says.
Between Thursday and Sunday, Ramform Titan will be preparing for the collection of seismic data.
“The 3D seismic imaging of blocks 30 and 26 is expected to take eight days, starting from Sunday,” the press release says.
The Administration says that all environmental protection measures and monitoring of the environmental parameters will be in line with the Environmental Impact Study adopted by the Nature and Environmental Protection Agency.
