Podgorica, (MINA) – The OSCE recognizes the importance of the work with the youth and their important role in building a peaceful and safe environment, said OSCE Mission ambassador in Montenegro Maryse Daviet.
The Ministry of Sport and the Youth, with the support of the OSCE Mission in Montenegro, organized in Budva a conference dedicated to strengthening of the Adriatic-Ionian cooperation in the field of youth policy.
The conference gathered 50 representatives of the countries of the Adriatic-Ionian initiative, international and regional organizations, national institutions and NGOs.
“By maintaining close cooperation with the countries of the region, as well as the EU member countries, Montenegro actively participates in defining priorities which are of importance to the whole Adriatic-Ionian region. We must work devotedly on improving conditions and creating opportunities for the young people in all the fields of common interest at regional level”, Minister of Sport Nikola Janovic said.
