Podgorica, (MINA) – The Bill on Life Partnership of Same Sex Persons has been sent to Council of Europe experts for their opinion, Assistant Minister for Human and Minority Rights Blanka Radosevic-Marovic has stated.
She told Pobjeda that the new legal text was presented to the Council of Europe with a request to provide comments on its compliance with international legal standards and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights.
“The Bill on Life Partnership of Same Sex Persons has also been presented to relevant government departments for their opinions. It was generally favorably rated by the departments, but the opinions of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice and the Union of Municipalities is still pending,” Radosevic-Marovic stated.
