Podgorica, (MINA) – The protest of the “To Freedom” movement will take place on Thursday, when Atlas Group president Dusko Knezevic will present, via video link, the information about Supreme Public Prosecutor Ivica Stankovic, the organization committee of that movement stated.
Bozidar Jovanovic of this movement said that the protest will take place outside the Supreme and Special Public prosecutors’ offices.
He said that ideological, national and other differences are irrelevant to the movement, and that their only goal is democratic constituting of the government, accountable to its citizens, as well as the rule of law, media freedoms and prosperous economy.
He announced that Dusko Knezevic will address the protest via video link.
Asked by the press if they agreed with the position of the “Resist” movement that parallel protests could confuse the citizens, Jovanovic said that their goal is not to divide the citizens.
“Dusko Knezevic has organized the protest after the movement “Resist” stated that they would postpone the protests for indefinite time”, said he.
Jovanovic added that the movement acts separately for now, but that they will support any other protests against the government and the regime.
Asked about the financing of the protest, Jovanovic said that Knezevic supports the protests both financially and with the data he would present.
He noted that they had called the political parties to join their protest, and that for the time being no one gave them any concrete response.
