Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – President of the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG) Vlastimir Golubovic has said that Montenegro is an attractive investment destinations because of its evident potentials for development of tourism, agriculture, transport infrastructure, energy and many investment opportunities available in other sectors, particularly in the underdeveloped regions.
“The economic results achieved in the previous several years, extending to the first quarter of this year, give us the right to say that Montenegro is a rising destination,” Golubovic said at a business meeting of Montenegrin and Chinese entrepreneurs, organized by the Embassy of China.
The PKCG says in a press release that China is the second largest foreign trade partner to Montenegro in import and the ninth largest in export. The commodity exchange between the two countries amounted to €270.6 million last year, up 18.8 percent year on year.
Last year, 41,340 tourists from China spent a total of 94,780 nights in Montenegro.
