Podgorica, (MINA) – The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism (MORT) have asked their Albanian colleagues for information about the construction of small hydropower plants on the Cijevna River on the Albanian territory, including complete documentation on environmental impact.
“The MORT has requested complete documentation on environmental impact, in order for the Montenegrin public and experts to be able to assess possible impact on the ecosystem and biodiversity in the river,” the Ministry told Vijesti.
The request has been presented to the Albanian authorities through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
