Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Minister of Finance Darko Radunovic has said that the Government of Montenegro is taking measures aimed at strengthening fiscal and financial stability in combination with structural reforms focusing on the improvement of competitiveness, in order to enhance the overall investment climate.
The Ministry of Finance says in a press release that Radulovic, who is a Governor of Montenegro at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), attended the EBRD Annual Meeting in Sarajevo.
The meeting continued with a panel on the Western Balkan, which comprised two parts.
“In the first part, the Western Balkan presidents and prime ministers presented their views of the current situation in their respective countries, as well as the activities and measures that should be taken in order to continue with the development, progress and regional cooperation,” the Ministry says.
The second part of the panel, attended by the country governors, including Radunovic, focused on the ongoing and planned measures aimed at keeping the young people from leaving their countries, as well as on the investments in national projects.
Radunovic said that Montenegro was working on the comprehensive and systematic reforms in several fields, including labour and education, tax and social policies, and entrepreneurship.
