Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Government has invited tenders for the construction of six-seater ski lifts and around 18.5 km of new ski runs in ski resorts of Kolasin 1600 and Zarski.
“The total value of the procurement is €18 million, out of which €9 million is allocated to each of the ski resorts,” says a press release issued by the Government’s Public Relations Service.
The bidders are expected to offer concept deigns, main designs, construction of the ski lifts with the capacity of 2,600 skiers an hour, construction of around 9.5 km of new ski runs in Zarski, which is located in the Mojkovac municipality, and around 9 km in Kolasin 1600.
They are also expected to bid for the design, procurement and construction of the transformer stations on both locations, and development of the concept designs and main designs for the snowmaking systems.
“New ski lift and ski runs in Kolasin 1600 will be connected with the Kolasin 1450 ski resort,” the press release says.
The timeframe for preparation of the documents is six months after the conclusion of the contract, while the works are expected to be delivered within 12 months after the contractor has been hired.
“This is another in a series of the Government’s actions aimed at stimulating and accelerating the development of northern region and tapping the potentials and resources in this part of the country,” the press release says. Longer version of article is available on a link MINA ENGLISH SERVIS
