Podgorica, (MINA) – European integration has no alternative and continuation of the EU enlargement policy is very important, said Foreign Minister Srdjan Darmanovic at the meeting of heads of diplomacy of the Western Balkans countries in Poznan.
According to the press release from the Foreign Ministry, the meetings emphasized that the Western Balkans is an important part of Europe and that the Berlin process agenda, which focuses on better integration and strengthening of cooperation, significantly encourages EU integration of the region.
During the session about the future of the Berlin process and the European perspective of the region, Darmanovic stressed that Montenegro strongly advocates the regatta principle and the merit based progress.
He stressed that it is equally important that the EU continues with valuing the results achieved on the European path.
