Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Minister of Economy Dragica Sekulic said at the Green Days 2019 conference that Montenegro was committed to following the European trends that recognized clean energy as a product of particular importance, and the environment as one of the most important resources.
At the panel on e-mobility, she said that this event was an ideal opportunity to hear the experiences of other countries and present the local ones.
“Montenegro can be a good example of orientation towards green energy, which is evident from the fact that we succeeded in meeting the total energy demand between 24 May and 2 June from the renewable sources only,” said Sekulic.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Economy, she expressed satisfaction with cooperation with the UNDP, saying that it had been an excellent partner in the implementation of e-mobility.
Sekulic said that Montenegro was aware of the current barriers to the introduction of e-mobility, which were reflected in a study prepared within the framework of this project.
The Green Days 2019 conference is held under the auspices of the Government, the Chamber of Commerce and the UNDP.
