Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Central Bank (CBCG), the purpose of the planned regional programme for the Western Balkan central banks, which will be implemented by Deutsche Bundesbank, is to strengthen monetary and financial stability in the region.
The CBCG Governor, Radoje Zugic, has met with the Director of the Deutsche Bundesbank’s Technical Cooperation Centre, Martin Dinkelborg, who came to Montenegro on the occasion of implementation of this regional programme.
“This EU-funded project is aimed at strengthening monetary and financial stability in the region and preparing the beneficiary institutions to become members of the European System of Central Banks,” the CBCG says in a press release.
