Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – At a meeting with heads of the inspection services, Prime Minister Dusko Markovic said that, compared with the same period last year, the tax revenues had increased by over €56 million in the first five months.
“This is an excellent result but we have to continue and intensify our activities,” Markovic said at the meeting with representatives of the Tax Administration, the Customs Administration, and the Administration for Inspection Affairs.
According to a press release issued by the Government, Markovic said that the results of the field activities carried out by the inspection services were visible, as well as their commitment to the public interest.
“We have to collect every euro of public revenues in order to improve the standard of living as much as possible and create as many jobs as possible,” said Markovic.
Directors of the three administrations, Miomir M. Mugosa, Vladan Jankovic and Alija Kosuta, presented the positive results achieved this year, adding that the activities carried out by their respective authorities focused on tackling the informal economy.
