Brussels, (MINA) – The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) has won every election honorably, Minister of Defense Predrag Boskovic has stated.
The Anti-Corruption Agency established earlier this week that the DPS had violated the Law on Financing of Political Parties and Election Campaigns, asking the party to return €47,500 to the state budget.
“What we can see from this entire process and everything that has been happening in the past month or so is that Montenegrin institutions are doing their job and that they are doing it well,” Boskovic told the press in Brussels.
According to him, institutions should be allowed to establish who is responsible for what in this particular case.
“What I can definitely say is that the DPS has won every election honorably and that if someone did make some mistakes they will definitely be held accountable. But nobody can question the election victories of the DPS,” Boskovic stated.
