Podgorica, (MINA) – The Council of the Radio Television of Montenegro
(RTCG) has unanimously reached a decision on forming a commission tasked with
analysis of RTCG’s informative broadcasts.
The Council’s meeting, held Tuesday, decided
that the representatives of both trade unions, along with journalists, should
have seats in the commission, and that they should be appointed by RTCG
Director General Bozidar Sundic.
The decision was reached on the proposal put forward by the Council’s member
Milan Radovic.
Radovic remarked that respecting the principles and standards by the Public
broadcaster has dropped and that there is unilaterality in its work.
Television director Slavko Djurdjic said that the change of the members of the
Council and the management was induced by the part of the public even before
the Atlas and Envelope affairs, adding that the intent was to collapse the
Public broadcaster and then replace and process the members of its management.
