Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – At today’s meeting, the Council of the Central Bank (CBCG) licensed the factoring company Faktor One.
“This company had been involved in the factoring business when the law on financial leasing, factoring, micro-credits and guarantees came in effect on 11 May 2018,” the CBCG says in a press release.
Consequently, this company was obliged to harmonize its organization, documents and operation with the provisions of this law within six months after it had entered into force.
The Council also adopted a report on CBCG’s activities and implementation of its policy for January, according to which the Bank’s activities had been carried out in line with the obligations planned for this period.
“The Council members were informed about the activities carried out by the Atlas Bank’s interim administrator and IBM’s bankruptcy administrator,” the CBCG says.
The Council amended a decision on the Credit Registry, which allows the banks undergoing the bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings to fulfill their reporting obligations towards the CBCG related to the Credit Registry.
