Podgorica, (MINA) – The interests of Serbs in Montenegro cannot be compromised, because Serbs form an inalienable part of the modern Montenegro, the Democratic Party of Socialists has stated.
The party responded to a statement by NOVA official Jovan Vucurovic who said that there was no reason for Prime Minister Dusko Markovic to respond indignantly to the statement by Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic about the position of Serbs in Montenegro.
Dacic remarked that Serbia is concerned over the series of actions by Podgorica that clearly contained elements of mistreatment and discrimination against Serbian citizens in Montenegro.
Markovic responded by saying that it was an offensive statement which deserved no additional comment.
