Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The governments of Montenegro and Slovenia have signed a programme of international development cooperation for 2019 and 2020, envisaging the implementation of projects worth €1.85 million.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says in a press release that the programme envisages the projects focusing on the strengthening of infrastructure and provision of bilateral technical assistance.
The international development cooperation programme was signed by Montenegrin Ambassador to Slovenia Vujica Lazovic and Director General of the Directorate for Multilateral Relations, Development Cooperation and International Law at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Sabina Stadler Repnik.
Lazovic and Stadler Repnik agreed that Montenegro and Slovenia had traditionally friendly relations, and that Montenegro was one of Slovenia’s most important development cooperation partners.
They expressed interest in further intensification of bilateral cooperation in all fields.
