Cooperation possible in different sectors

Ljubljana, (MINA-BUSINESS) – President of the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG) Vlastimir Golubovic has said that Montenegro and Slovenia can boost their cooperation, particularly in the field of implementation of infrastructure projects, IT services, energy, tourism, agriculture and wood processing.

“Even though the value of commodity exchange reached €85 million last year, I believe that there is potential for improvement of cooperation between Montenegro and Slovenia,” Golubovic said at a business forum held in Ljubljana.

According to a press release issued by the PKCG, Golubovic thanked Slovenian entrepreneurs for having been among the first ones to invest in Montenegro after the restoration of its independence.

“These are the companies HIT Montenegro, NLB banka, Intereuropa, Triglav osiguranje, Petrol and Mercator. Today, there are more than 150 companies with Slovenian capital operating in Montenegro,” said Golubovic.

He said that the Slovenian economy could offer important expertise in the field of development of transport and energy infrastructure. Longer version of article is available on a link MINA ENGLISH SERVIS
