Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There are currently 35,000 unemployed people in Montenegro, 0.7 percent fewer than last week.
According to a report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate decreased this week from 15.85 percent to 15.74 percent.
The highest unemployment rate reached 32.7 percent in July of 2000, while the lowest one, at the level of 10.1 percent, was recorded in August of 2009.
Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 5,340 newly employed workers.
A total of 15,640 vacancies have been advertised in this period.
