Podgorica, (MINA) – Democratic Front (DF) officials Andrija Mandic and Milan Knezevic have been sentenced to 5 years jail time each, while driver working for that political alliance Mihailo Cadjenovic has been sentenced to a year and six months jail time, Podgorica Higher Court ruled.
The heaviest prison term, for the attempted terrorism on the day of the parliamentary elections in 2016, was delivered against Russian nationals Eduard Shishmakov and Vladimir Popov, who had been tried in absentia – 15 and 12 years.
They have been sentenced for the crime of creation of a criminal organization and attempted terrorism.
Bratislav Dikic was sentenced to eight years for aiding and abetting in the attempted terrorism and creating of a criminal organization, while Nemanja Ristic and Predrag Bogicevic were handed seven years each for the same crime.
Branka Milic was sentenced to three years, Dragan Maksic a year and nine months, and Srboljub Djordjevic and Milan Dusic a year and six months each.
Kristina Hristic was sentenced to one year probation.
