Podgorica, (MINA) – There is no chance that a nonpartisan person could be appointed President of the State Election Commission (DIK), CEO of the Network for Affirmation Of Nongovernmental Sector (MANS) Vanja Calovic Markovic has stated.
On 6 September, the Parliament published a public call for applications for the appointment of DIK President, which said that the applicants could not be serving as members of political party management bodies in the past three years.
“I believe that there is no chance that it could be a nonpartisan person, or that it could be a person of integrity and reputation who will work in accordance with the law,” Calovic told Mina.
