Nikolic: Parliament leadership fails to mark 20th anniversary of Montenegro’s Independence Declaration
Podgorica, (MINA) – The leadership of the Parliament of Montenegro failed to mark the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, said head of the Democratic Party of Socialists parliamentary group Andrija Nikolic.
He said that, exactly 20 years ago, the Parliament adopted the Declaration of Independence, which formally verified the citizens’ will for Montenegro to restore its independence.
“The leadership of the Parliament did not see fit to mark this anniversary with a ceremonial session. Sad”, Nikolic wrote on the X social network.
