Podgorica, (MINA)  - The adoption of the Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee declaration in the Montenegrin Parliament confirms Montenegro’s significant progress in the European integration process, said Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanovic.

He pointed out that the document carries a strong message of encouragement and a clear confirmation of Montenegro’s determination to complete negotiations with the EU by next year.

Ivanovic emphasized that this is a document that, in addition to acknowledging the efforts made so far, also sends a strong message of support from European parliamentarians.

He added that the declaration is also the recognition of the progress made so far, but also an incentive to continue with the reforms, until reaching the ultimate goal – Montenegro’s EU membership by 2028.
