Podgorica, (MINA) – The Ministry of the Diaspora has developed a mobile application for members of Montenegro’s diaspora, together with a supporting web administrative platform, establishing the first centralized digital service for citizens of Montenegro living and working abroad.

The Ministry announced that the project was implemented as part of the activities planned in the Government’s Program for this year, with the aim of improving communication with the diaspora and strengthening ties with Montenegro through modern digital tools.

“For the first time, a centralized mobile platform has been established that enables members of the diaspora to access relevant information in one place, regardless of their country of residence”, the Ministry’s information states.

In parallel with the development of the mobile application, a web administrative platform (CMS) was established, enabling the Ministry to manage users, content, events, notifications and other segments of the system.
