Podgorica, (MINA) – A session of the Security and Defense Committee, which should have discussed the annual report of the National Security Agency (ANB), was not held on Thursday due to the lack of quorum, the Parliament announced.
European Alliance MP and deputy Committee chair Nikola Zirojevic wrote on the X social network that none of the ruling majority members attended the session, where the report on the work of the ANB was to be discussed.
“Although it was scheduled well in advance, none of the MPs attended today’s session where we were supposed to consider the ANB’s report for 2025. Three of the 12 MPs announced their absence due to the fact that they are outside of Montenegro”, said Zirojevic.
The Security and Defense Committee has been without a chair since March, when MP Miodrag Lakovic resigned from that position and at left the Europe Now Movement.
