Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Excluding the unaccounted-for facilities that are not permanently inhabited, the average electricity bill amounted to €29.15 in May.
Elektroprivreda (EPCG) stated in a press release that the lowest average consumption of €23.49 was registered in Rozaje, while the highest average consumption in May was recorded in Kotor, where the households consumed €34.52 worth of electricity on average.
According to the power company, the bills lower than €30 were received by as 66.63 percent of the consumers, while the bills of 18.41 percent of consumers ranged between €30 and €50.
EPCG stated that 12.07 percent of consumers would pay between €50 and €100, while the electricity bills of 2.89 percent of consumers were higher than €100 in May.
Electricity consumption by households reached 105.36 million kWh in May, 6.37 percent less than in April, and 5.93 percent more than in the same period last year.
