Kotor, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Municipality of Kotor has invited all women entrepreneurs to apply by 2 October for the grants designed to support women’s entrepreneurship this year.

The local administration is encouraging women entrepreneurs and women-owned or run companies that are just starting a business or seeking to improve their operations, and that reside or have their headquarters in Kotor, to submit applications.

Businesses are considered “start-ups” if they were established less than one year before the call for applications was launched.

Applications should be submitted to the Commission for the Allocation of Support for Women’s Entrepreneurship using the prescribed form, delivered to the Citizen Service Office in the Municipality of Kotor by 2 October at 1:00 p.m. 

Application forms for the public call and the business plan template can be downloaded from the Municipality’s website.

A total of €50,000 is available from the municipal budget in grants for all eligible business ideas.

The maximum amount of funding awarded for a business plan cannot exceed 30 percent of the total budget earmarked by the Municipality to support women entrepreneurs.
