Bozovic elected President of the SSCG Assembly

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Ranko Bozovic has been elected President of the Assembly of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Montenegro (SSCG).

The SSCG said in a press release that Bozovic was elected by a majority of delegates at the SSCG Assembly.

Bozovic thanked Assembly members for their confidence, saying he viewed the election result as both recognition of the work accomplished so far and a major responsibility to continue advocating even more strongly for workers’ rights, strengthening the trade union movement, and improving the position of employees in Montenegro.

He said his election to the post was a recognition of the joint efforts of the Assembly and all SSCG bodies, particularly during the previous term, when a number of important projects were completed, benefiting members and the trade union system as a whole.

“This is not just my personal achievement, but the result of the work of the SSCG, which has demonstrated responsibility, commitment and readiness to tackle issues of major importance to workers. During the previous term, we completed several important projects and laid the foundations for further strengthening our organization,” Bozovic said.

He added that the SSCG would remain firmly committed to protecting employees’ rights, strengthening social dialogue, improving working conditions, and promoting decent work and greater job security for all workers.
