Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Minister of Maritime Affairs and Coordinator of the Ministry of Transport Filip Radulovic, the reconstruction of the Djurdjevica Tara Bridge is one of the best examples of successful cooperation between Montenegro and China.

He met with representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Montenegro and the China International Development Cooperation Agency to discuss the implementation of the Djurdjevica Tara Bridge reconstruction project and the overall cooperation between the two countries in the field of infrastructure.

“The Djurdjevica Tara Bridge is one of Montenegro’s most recognizable landmarks and a site of exceptional cultural, historical, and tourism significance,” Radulovic said.

He added that China's financing of the bridge reconstruction is confirmation of the strong friendship and mutual trust that the two countries have cultivated over the years.

The meeting also confirmed the readiness to continue cooperation through new projects of mutual interest, for the benefit of the citizens of Montenegro and China.
